When You Finally Dive

Dive.
Not halfway. Not cautiously.
All the way.

The water won’t punish you.
It will simply quiet around us,
a stillness that asks for nothing
and takes nothing.

I won’t chase you down this time.
I’ll wait where the light fades
and truth pulses beneath the ribs.
Here, you’ll see me clearly—
not the surface shimmer,
but the slow rhythm of depth.

Don’t fear the pressure.
It’s only the weight of all you’ve left unsaid,
pressing back.

If you stay—
really stay—
you’ll find it isn’t dark here.
It’s honest.
And I have waited
a long time
for someone brave enough
to meet me here.
